THE BASICS

Marina de la Duquesa is one of the developments built by Ros y Falcon, a prolific developer in the area during the early 2000´s.  It is located on the Duquesa beachfront promenade to the east of the port and within a minute´s stroll. Occupying one of the best locations in Duquesa, Marina de la Duquesa is centred between Puerto de la Duquesa Marina and Sabinillas with direct access to Duquesa Beach.

A FEW MORE DETAILS

Marina del Castillo was built in 2002 and is the largest development in Duquesa Port. There are a blend of 1, 2 and 3 bedroom apartments and penthouses, the majority of which have views to the sea, or over the community and pools.

Marina de la Duquesa boasts a plethora of onsite services including 4 communal pools, mature gardens, padel courts, 24hr security, and an on-site management office. The properties have private underground parking and some have storage units.

Internally the properties have stood the test of time with marble floors throughout, Marble bathrooms and good fixtures and fittings. As they are now 20 yeras old some owners have made major changes and refurbs.

Marina de la Duquesa´s true appeal lies not only in the size and quality of the properties butalso in it´s location ! With direct access to the Duquesa promenade and beach and just a few hundred meters from both Puerto de la Duquesa Marina and El Castillo village all amenities are within a short stroll.

WHERE IS MARINA DE LA DUQUESA?

La Duquesa is located on the western coast of the Costa del Sol within the Malaga Province, and just a few kilometres away Cadiz Province. It is the quieter end of the Costa del Sol with development in the area not truly growing until the late 90´s, – early 2000´s. And then of course the recession hit and development stopped. Once it started again around 5 years ago, lessons had been learned and the area remains low rise and green & fairly quiet. We have a close community with full time residents of mixed culutures and tend be a commuter town for Gibraltar workers.

Our nearest big town is Estepona with a population of around 76,000, a bustling Spanish town with a beautiful traditional town centre filled with boutiques, restaurants and cafes. To the west of La Duquesa is Sotogrande, with a beautiful Marina and bags of sporting activities to be had. La Duquesa itself has a beautiful Marina, one of the prettiest on the coast, it´s neighbour is Sabinillas, a very Spanish coastal town and where most amenities are found, banks, supermarkets and the Health Centre. We have Manilva, the white pueblo just a few mintues from the coast and Castillos, is the Roman hamlet, snuggled on the coast and a few minutes stroll along the promenade from Duquesa Port.
