THE BASICS

Duquesa Village sits in an elevated position at the top of the El Hacho hillside, above Monte Duquesa Courtyard and Puerto de la Duquesa marina. The development of 702 properties was built between in 2004 and 2007 and consists of  2 and 3 bedroom apartments with lift access. air conditioning, parking and store rooms.

A FEW MORE DETAILS

Duquesa Village is a large development built in a commanding position on the El Hacho hillside in Duquesa. The architecture has held it´s own over the years and the buildings remain fresh and modern 15 years later.

All properties have underground parking and lift access to the apartment level. Duquesa Village is an established and well maintained community with a 24hr security, a padel tennis court, large communal gardens and 5 swimming pools.

All apartments and penthouses in Duquesa Village have good sized private terraces withvariable views and orientations. They generally have open plan kitchens, though the penthouses don´t.  They have good build quality and have stood the test of time, marblefloors throughout, good quality fixtures andfttings and private underground parking and store rooms. All of which leaves you with great permanent residences or holiday homes.

With only a 15 minute stroll to Duquesa Courtyards bars and restaurants and a further 10 minutes to Puerto Duquesa and the beach, Duquesa Village offers a quieter residence with easy access to amenities.

WHERE IS DUQUESA VILLAGE?

La Duquesa is located on the western coast of the Costa del Sol within the Malaga Province, and just a few kilometres away Cadiz Province. It is the quieter end of the Costa del Sol with development in the area not truly growing until the late 90´s, – early 2000´s. And then of course the recession hit and development stopped. Once it started again around 5 years ago, lessons had been learned and the area remains low rise and green & fairly quiet. We have a close community with full time residents of mixed culutures and tend be a commuter town for Gibraltar workers.

Our nearest big town is Estepona with a population of around 76,000, a bustling Spanish town with a beautiful traditional town centre filled with boutiques, restaurants and cafes. To the west of La Duquesa is Sotogrande, with a beautiful Marina and bags of sporting activities to be had. La Duquesa itself has a beautiful Marina, one of the prettiest on the coast, it´s neighbour is Sabinillas, a very Spanish coastal town and where most amenities are found, banks, supermarkets and the Health Centre. We have Manilva, the white pueblo just a few mintues from the coast and Castillos, is the Roman hamlet, snuggled on the coast and a few minutes stroll along the promenade from Duquesa Port.
